We had decided to visit Legoland, Sanrio Hello Kitty Town & Bt Indah.
The signboards along the highway are very distinctive. Even for 1st timer like us, we manage to reach Legoland in 1 piece. :)
The car park in Legoland is very full, packed. We have to park somewhere very far and on a very hot Sunday, it's unwise to park and walk to the entrance of Legoland. Therefore, we left Legoland and proceeded to Sanrio Hello Kitty Town.
The drive is about 10 mins away. In fact from Tuas 2nd link, you will drive pass Legoland 1st, then Sanrio Hello Kitty Town. Please do take note that the Sign for Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is not as distinctive as Legoland. And the building does NOT say that it's Sanrio Hello Kitty Town at all. In fact the name of the mall is Little Red Cube. Perhaps because it's only 3 weeks old, the guards there are not as experience as the ones in Legoland. The car parking system is a bit chaotic, cars were parked in an orderly but illegally manner. Again, I told hubby that I am not going to walk in the hot sun to "see" Sanrio Hello Kitty Town. But we were lucky. We managed to get an illegal lot that is near to the mall.
My 1st impression of the mall, is that it resembles Premium Outlet. It is an outdoor mall. However, it is not in operation yet. A google search says that the mall should be open in Dec.
Very near to the entrance, is of course Sanrio Hello Kitty Town, its cafe and shop!
Here are some of the pics that I had managed to snap. I did not snap lots of pics. But there were merchandises for Thomas & Friends, Barney, Angelina, Pingo, Bob The Builder and of course the Sanrio Family. Price of the items seems to be slightly cheaper than in SG. But of course it depends on item to item.
Entrance Fee. No annual Pass. RM 65 per park or RM 110 for both parks. |
Menu at Red Bow Cafe |
The only Hello Kitty shape food that is in the fridge. RM 7.50 for this Fruit Pudding. Umm it doesn't look appertising at all. |

After the visit to Sanrio Hello Kitty Town, we went to Jusco Bukit Indah. Had our dinner at Old Town. Yes, cheaper than in SG, but not as nice. We wanted to cut the jam and therefore trying to leave before 7pm (which I think many will be having dinner in JB). Therefore we briefly go into Jusco supermarket, bought some grocery before we left. In our opinions, it seems like JB is going into a war soon and all the grocery were snapped up! Ha... Sunday evening, major grocery shopping, must be from SG tourists. ;)
